In case of an accident

In the event of an accident, the following steps must be followed:

If the accident involves a third party:

- If necessary, contact the competent authorities.

- Fill out a report by using the TravelCar insurance information (available in your personal space), indicating the detailed circumstances of the accident, including the other driver(s) information.

It must also include the contact information of any witnesses.

- Contact TravelCar to inform us of the incident and to open a claim.

- If the vehicle cannot be driven, contact TravelCar to arrange for vehicle and passenger assistance as we make a new car available to you

If the accident does not involve a third party:

- If necessary, contact the competent authorities.

- Contact TravelCar customer service to inform them of the damage.

- If the vehicle cannot be driven, contact TravelCar to arrange for vehicle and passenger assistance as we make a new car available to you.

- Our teams will take care of your claim with our insurance.

In case of damage or at fault accident, the renter will have to pay the amount of the deductible and the insurance will pay the additional costs related to the damage of the vehicle.
